The VI edition of Myplant&Garden has been postponed to September 2020. Read all about it.

We herewith publish the press release we received from the trade fair this evening.

OBJECT: postponement of the VI edition of the International Trade Fair Myplant & Garden

Dearest exhibitors and visitors,

considering the gravity of the unpredictable current situation and also considering the fact that numerous exhibiting companies have canceled their participation because of the fear of contagion due to the diffusion of COVID-19 – and furthermore, considering the predictable participation of an inferior number of visitors – the Organisational Secretariat of the trade fair Myplant & Garden has been in contact with representatives of the Prefecture of Milan and of Regione Lombardia in order to ask an opinion concerning the measures to be taken in regard to the current situation of emergency.

With respect to the commitment and work of all parties involved in the creation of the exhibition, the Organisational Secretariat – taking into consideration the health of all exhibitors, visitors and all their families – wishes to make clear immediately to all exhibitors, bodies and associations of the industry the postponement of the trade fair in the month of September 2020. It would have been unthinkable to wait any much longer for further dispositions.

As you all may well understand, this is a very complicated decision to take, but it is grown out of unpredictable conditions of emergency.

The perspective of September 2020 is the best solution in order to keep building, year after year, a path of shared growth. This is a choice that takes into account our sense of responsibility and the need to protect the health and safety of exhibitors, visitors and all their families in the first place. We are certain that the postponement of Myplant may become a further opportunity of growth and development for all exhibitors, visitors, partners and co-operators. This would have not been possible from 26 to 28 February.

We will keep working by trusting each other, so that the VI edition of Myplant can be what should have been in the next few days: a great success.

The Organisational Secretariat considers this decision as an opportunity, in that the health, interest and image of all companies and bodies involved in the organisation of the trade fair can be safeguarded.

We thank you all for your cooperation, and we always remain at your disposal for any question.
