A new cutter bar called ‘SuperCut 2000’, originally developed by the Japanese Company Ochiai for top-cutting tea plantations, was introduced by Antologia snc, exclusive agents in Italy, at the recent Flormart-Miflor exhibition. The cutter bar is operated by 3 people, one at either end of the bar and another to hold upright the collecting bag. Ideal for cutting a wide range of ornamenatl plants, one operator said that he could over-cut his entire production in 3 hours with 3 people as opposed to a whole week with traditional equipment.
