Agraria Checchi Silvano & C. of Pistoia have designed and patented a simple yet elegant solution for keeping container Nursery-stock plants upright in the wind. The device, designed for individual containers, consists of stainless steel wire structure that fits around the lip of the container forming an inverted cone to provide extra stability. The upper ring comes in diameters of 18, 20, ,24, 26, 28, 30.5, 33.5, 35.5, 39, 44 and 49cm (for eample those with an upper ring of 18cm and 49cm diameter have a lower ring respectively of 32 and 80cm). When not in use these container supports can be stacked up one on top of the other. This must be the most cost effective wind support available.
