Amongst the new introductions of Kordes Young Pants is dwarf variety of the Maindenhair tree (Ginko biloba) called 'Tit'. A very striking variety for production as a dwarf container plant. Derived from a dwrf Japanese variety variously named 'Chi Chi', Tschi-Tschi' or Chi Chi Icho', it is the result of many years of selection and is garfted onto a particulat root-stock. The cultivar produces dense bushy growth and the leaf buds that appear on the stems develop into leaves. Caryopteris clandonensis ´Blauer Spatz´ is a striking seedling selection from Dr. Pirc, Vienna-Schoenbrunn. It is a compact growing cultivar to 70cm, well-branched, with lovely dark blue flowers.
