A UK Company is producing a bio-fuel called 'Greenheat', a greenhouse burner and garden light which both work on this fuel. The bio-fuel, available in the form of a gel, is produced from sugar cane and is claimed to be carbon-dioxide neutral which means that it only emits the same amount of gas as was absorbed by the sugar cane during its growth and has been endorsed by the Worldwide Fund for Nature. The equipment that uses this fuel is aimed at the hobby and conservatory sector and certaily make excellent products for Garden center Retail. The tank of the greenhouse heater hols 3 litres of the gel, sufficient for 10 hours of burning. The burning releases only carbon-dioxide and water vapour with no toxic gases. The energy output is 1 kilowatt. The Hestia Garben Torch is a cylindrical lamp that creates a special effect for the garden or as a table feature due to its flame. The fuel is supplied in 200gm tins of gel that burn for 3 hours. For more information contact: Gardenheat Company, tel 0044 117 9232300 E-mail: info@greenheat.co.uk www.greenheat.co.uk |
