Pots from Aufderhaar Plastic Industrie

By using the in-mould labelling technique images of photographic quality can be ‘printed’ on the sides of plastic pots. The technique has been used for many years in the sector of food containers. Using such pots the distribution chain from grower to retailer product promotion and brands can be maintained and highlighted.

Another novelty from this Company on display at IPM 2005 was the Neva® rose pot. Its main advantage lies in its perfect load factor on CC trolleys. For the Neva® 1, the number per layer will increase from 50 to 60 pieces, compared to conventional rose pots. And for the Neva® 2, the number per layer increases from 40 to 50 pcs. A saving of 10-20% can be made on potting compost and 20 % on costs of transport alone. For both types a new transport tray is available, conforming to pack standards.
