| The next edition of the biennial Hortec exhibition will take place 8 – 10 March at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi, Kenya. The event will focus on sustainable methods of expansion of the industry in terms of flower and horticultural production, added value services and the development of new export markets. The floricultural industry in Kenya is valued at over $100 million with an annual growth rate of 12% (an increase of 200ha of production per year). Exports continues to command 25% of total flowers sales into Europe. The event will include two trade days and a conference program.
