| An investigation by Thermoflor BV (Holland) in collaboration with garden centre operators, architects and designers, has narrowed down three basic garden centre design concepts in their proposals for the ‘Garden Centre of the Future’. The first is described as ‘Natural Design’ demonstrating an emphasis on adventure, ecology, environment, energy saving. The second is the ‘Classic Design’ addressing itself to atmosphere, romance and decorative features with a substantial emphasis on plants. The third is ‘Modern Design’ for high-tech, rational functionality and transparency. The Company works throughout Europe to up-grade and modify sales areas on production nurseries and to develop tailor made new constructions.
