| Cut-flowers of Helianthus have become extremely popular with Italian consumers and are cultivated in southern regions such as Campania or imported from Holland. The new variety ‘Orange Summer’ is a new addition to the Sunrich series, bred by Takii to provide grower advantages under long day conditions. It is ideal for production from late spring through to the autumn. In addition, stems are 25% shorter at harvest and the cultivation cycle is 7-10 days shorter.
