The Ohio Florists’ Association (OFA) and the Southern Nursery Association (SNA) of the United States announce a new partnership to develop a unique trade show and educational event for the retail floristry industry in North America. The event is called "FloristWorld" and will constiute a new section within the SNA World Showcase for Horticulture scheduled for 31 July - 2 August 2003, at the Georgia World Congress center, Atlanta. FloristWorld will cover almost 2,000m2 dedicated to retail florist products, design demonstrations, new products. The exisiting collaboration between the OFA and the Internationale Pflanzen Messe (IPM), the FDF (German Florists’ Association) and other retail service organizations will be an asset in making this a premier US event for florists. This follows the realization by the SNA of the the dynamic effect of bringing together all segments of horticulture. SNA 2000 will over 40,000m2 of exhibition space with 1,700 stands.
