| Danish plants at IPM 2010: plants and lifestyle | |
Visit the joint Danish stand in Hall 5 for a lifestyle test with plants! New plants from Denmark Danish nurserymen are European champions in new plants. In the period from 2000 to 2005, Denmark alone accounted for 54% of all registered new plants and the desire to innovate continues. The new plants are the result of intensive, focused product development that alsoincludes future trends and colours.
Floradania Innovation Award 2010
A third category has now been added to the Danish Floradania Innovation Award which means that awards are now given in the following categories:
- Floradania Innovation Award – this year’s most innovative new plant
- Floradania Concept Award – this year’s plant concept
- Floradania Environmental Award – this years most eco‐friendly initiative
The three winners will be announced at the joint Danish stand in Hall 5 on Tuesday, 26 January, at 11:30 a.m. by Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte, Princess of Denmark.
Communication Zone
This year, a special communication zone has been established at the joint stand with a press centre, an info centre and a styling event.
Styling event and lifestyle test
See the new Danish plants presented in a new, lifestyle‐oriented way. Plants will be styled to match specific lifestyle types and environments. In continuation of the event, it will be possible for you to test your lifestyle, including styling of plants to match your type and personality.
The styling event with the subsequent test and styling will be held as follows:
- 26 January, at 1:00 & 3:00 p.m.
- 27, 28 and 29 January, at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 & 4:00 p.m.
Speed‐dating
On the opening day, a speed‐dating event will be held for the press where Danish nurserymen are going to talk about their new plants and it will be possible to ask questions. This event will be held at 2:00 p.m. The press tour will start at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on the other days.
