Overwhelming support has been voiced in the UK horticultural industry to establish  an independent National Forum, capable of creating a vision for the sector which will guide and inform the industry, its operators and the Government.  The organizing committee will include representatives from: the Horticultural Development Council, Horticultural Trades Association, Royal Horticultural Society, Institute of Horticulture, National farmers Union,University of Reading, Horticulture Research International, East Malling Trust for Horticultural Research (this comes after many years of widespread neglect lack of appreciation and understanding of the sector by government Ndr). “Commercial Greenhouse Grower”  E-mail: Green@actpub.co.uk
