FLORENSIS CUT FLOWERS and VAN KLINK combine their activities
 

Florensis Cut Flowers and H.A. Van Klink & Zn have announced today that they are engaged in discussions with a view to combining their activities.
Both companies have as a result of these discussions decided to merge their activities. This with a view to further intensifying their market presence and raising the level of service to their customers.
The ultimate aim is to continue further together per 1-1-2011 at the current location of Florensis in Rijsenhout.
Combining the activities of these two family businesses and equal partners will enable the best possible application of each partner’s knowledge and skills, thus opening the way to further optimization. Quality improvement and increase of reliability of supply have been cardinal points in this entire process.

The breeding and selection activities of Van Klink, incorporated in ENVIRO, are part of the merger and are to be combined with the breeding activities of Florensis, where they will be further intensified.
“Combining the activities is intended to provide cultivators with an improved service and more innovative products and solutions” as George Van Klink puts it.
Herman Hamer notes that “the creation of a strong partnership between the two companies provides the opportunity to expand further our solid base of products and services to cultivators”.
 
Florensis Cut Flowers is a producer/distributor of seeds and young plants from cut flowers from seed, based in Rijsenhout, the Netherlands.
 
H.A. Van Klink & Zn is a producer/distributor of seeds and young plants from cut flowers from seed, based in Buitenkaag, the Netherlands.
