The next edition of Iberflora (held together with Euroagro) will take place at Valencia, Spain, 17-19 October 2002. Holding the two exhibitions simultaneously, makes Valencia a very important pole for Mediterranean agriculture, regarding fresh produce. Exhibitors and buyers are expected from the European Union and other countries including: Argentina, Brazil, Turkey, Chile and Byelorussia, North Africa, South Africa and the Middle East. Many participating companies are involved in large scale distribution, and the exhibitions represent an excellent showcase for new agricultural technologies. Over one hundred trade buyers from these countries have confirmed attendance. The exhibitions will cover more than 30,000 square metres (22.000mq for Iberflora and 8.000mq for Euroagro). The sectors on display cover: plants and flowers, gardens, production and post-harvest technology, irrigation, fruits and vegetables The Fruits and Vegetables Show of the Valencian Community will hold a new edition in Eurogrow, with the collaboration of the Regional Ministry for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries of the Valencian Government.
