Terra Nigra's bright yellow hybrid-T rose was baptized by the 2001 world champion 500 cc, Mr. Valentino Rossi during the Dutch TT 2002 in Assen. The new "Rossi" variety has, like Valentino's winning motorcycle, a very strong yellow color, which does not fade on the plant nor in the vase. It has very elegant flower buds which develop into very large flowers. The"Rossi" variety was the result of a cross made in 1998, selected in 1999 because of its strong color and large flower size.
