The successful Hovaria series from nursery Hofstede in Huissen has been extended with Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Love you Kiss’. Bred by Koos and Wilko Hofstede and first introduced in 2001, it was presented by the Nursery André van Zoest BV in Reeuwijk for judgement at the recent Plantarium Exhibition. ‘Love you Kiss’ is a striking Teller type with pure white flowers and the petals have a narrow bright red edge. In full bloom the colours shift from white to soft pink, after which the red edge remains a little more modest. This Hydrangea has an upright sturdy manner of growth and flowers from June to September. www.hovaria.com
