Helenium autumnale 'Helena Gold' (yellow) and 'Helena Red Shades' (signal red) are new for 2002. The previously well known mix called 'Red and Gold Hybrids' is now renamed 'Helena Mix'. They produce an abundance of flowers on upright stems from late July through to September/October. 'Helena Gold'. They are ideal varieties for beds and borders and do well in hot sunny locations. They are also very useful as cut-flowers, especially in combination with Delphinium and Lobelia. Seeds germinate in 14-20 days at 12-16°C.
