A mutant of the Pyracantha variety 'Cadrou' has cream-coloured variegated foliage and red berries. It was christened ‘Cadvar’ and commercial introduction is being arranged by the French company of Sapho. 'Cadvar' was seen at the Plantarium Exhibition 2202 as part of the Saphyr® series by West-End Nurseries of Great Britain. Another welcome characteristic of 'Cadvar' is the fire-blight resistance. www.plantarium.nl
