Help the RHS choose the Plant of the Century!

The 100th edition of the world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show is coming up and England’s Royal Horticultural Society is organizing a vote for the ‘Plant of the Centenary’, in celebration. Even if you have never managed to make it to Chelsea, your vote is much appreciated!

To celebrate the hundredth anniversary of Chelsea, the RHS has assembled a panel of horticultural experts to select the ten best plants launched at England’s most famous Flower Show ever since its start back in 1913. Each one had to represent one of the decades of the past 100 years: a difficult task, obviously.
The ten plants which were eventually selected have stood the test of time and continue to be popular inclusions in the garden to this day. Only one can be crowned the official plant of the year, however, and that is where you come in!
You can see the shortlist with the ten selected plants, by clicking here. Cast your vote for your favorite of the ten there (which won’t be an easy pick!), and watch ten enthusiastic amateur gardeners explain the surprising reasoning behind their personal favorites.
Voting closes at noon on May 24.The winning plant will be announced on the final day of the Chelsea Flower Show, which runs from May 21 to May 25 at the Royal Hospital in London.
