Have a seat at the Fides Flower Festival!

During the annual flower trials of breeder Fides, from 11 until 14 June, growers, traders and retail parties are cordially invited to literally have a seat amongst the latest novelties. This year, the relationship takes central stage at the Fides Flower Festival. That’s why the name of the event is ‘Meet and Seat’.

Every year, Fides organises an inspiring Fides Flower Festival with extensive flower trials of cut Chrysanthemums and flowering pot and bedding plants. This edition signifies having time and attention for our guests. As Ringo Veenman, commercial director of Fides explains: “It is a translation of the hospitable phrase ‘Please take a seat’. During the event, this phrase will be used frequently and literally. We wish to create an approachable and informal atmosphere. This year’s décor and design will certainly reflect that aspect; Inviting and with subtle elegance.”

Not just Fides novelties

During the upcoming Fides Flower Festival, the current assortment will be shown. On top of that unique numbers with high market potential will be showcased as well. Several novelties can be found throughout the cut Chrysanthemum assortment, both in the spray as disbud section! Besides, in the flowering pot plants, interesting additions of Kalanchoe and Calandiva^® will be there. And Fides will show again that breeding pot Chrysanthemums has not come to an end.

Ringo Veenman adds: “Not just Fides will show what we offer. At the Fides Flower Festival, a wider assortment can be explored. Particularly within the bedding plants assortment. Fides varieties will be shown next to the Red Fox products. Breeders like Bartels Stek (perrenials), Barberet & Blanc (pot Carnations) and Ecke (poinsettias) will be there with their latest novelties. To me, more than enough reasons to visit us!”
