Bloomz of New Zealand are offering 6 new varieties of Calla (Zantedeschia), including "Pot Black" with a new purple black flower colour. According to a Company spokesman this variety is a real break through because it produces 4 flowers from a 3cm tuber direct from a one year cycle grown from tissue culture. The variety will be followed by other colours. The same Company is also offering a dwarf variety of Sandersonia 'Jingle Bells' for pot production.
