On the initiative of the ENA (European Nursery-stock Association) a common European nomenclature is to be realised by 2005. Various Nursery-stock growers from various European countries will use the existing Boskoop list as the basis from which to work. This list can be seen in the publication "List of Names of Woody Plants" published by the Proefstation voor de Boomkwekerij (Boskoop (now the PPO - Praktijkonderzoek Plant & Omgeving.
