The 2014 Plantarium international nursery trade fair will be opened by JanWillem Breukink on Wednesday 27 August 2014. Breukink is a board member of INCOTEC®, a company that is known throughout the global seed industry and that specialises in the market introduction of new technologies across the world.

Breukink is also chairman of the board of Seed Valley, a cluster of businesses in the Province of Noord-Holland between Enkhuizen and Warmenhuizen that specialise in the improvement, production and selling of high-quality seeds and botanic basic material. This is how Plantarium makes the connection to the very first link in the chain: the basic material.

INCOTEC

In addition to his chairmanship for Seed Valley, JanWillem Breukink is a director of Topsector Tuinbouw & Uitgangsmaterialen (top sector for horticulture & basic materials). The top sector policy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is aimed at smart collaboration between businesses, researchers and the government, and serves to include our country among the economic and social world top. In that capacity, Breukink recently formed part of a delegation that, during his state visit to the Netherlands, explained the Chinese president Xi Jinping about the innovative agricultural and food technologies being developed here.
