Vivaio Rose Patrucco introducted the Rose variety 'Respect' during the Flora Exhibition at Ercolano, Naples, late November. Selected from the stable of Jan Spek Rozn BV, this variety produces medium sized red flowers of a good shape and it is very productive (220 stems/m2 and above) in the Mediterranean climate. The flowers are resistant; they will fully open even if cut too tight (still a common practice in local Nurseries down South) and the variety is fetching good prices.
