New for 2003 is Dümmen's 'Survivor' series of Pelagonium. Following recent market trrends, these have been especially bred for vigour and production as larger better quality plants in 13/14cm pots. According to Tobias Dümmen, a big demand for more vigorous varieties exists especially in Italy, Germany, England and the USA. The series includes the varieties 'Pink Splash', 'Coral', 'Red', 'Blue' (deep red/purple)' and 'Magenta'. Trial quantities should be available to the market in 2004.
