The English Landscape Company and Garden Centre, Pantiles Nurseries Limited, located at Cherstsey, South West of London, offers work experience to a suitable Italian candidate (minimum age 18years). The position consists of a full-time job for a minimum period of 6 months (the term may be extended following successful review). The person will work in the Landscape Division for 5 months, assisting the landscape team with hard and soft landscaping projects in the South East of England. This entails physical outdoor work. The job also includes a one month term in the Design Office, assisting with the day to day running of the Office. It is hoped that the person employed will have some experience of site surveys and manual production of plans. The working week is 42.5 hours (during busy periods additional hours may be required). Salary range, according to the candidate's age and experience will be in the range of GBP 174 - 270 gross per week. During the 6 month period 10 days of paid holiday will be accrued. The one position is available as of February 2003. This opportunity provides work experience and the chance to improve knowledge of English language.
