CriptoPAK1000

This product from Bioplanet contains Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, a preditor of numerous species of mealy bug e.g. Planococcus/Pseudococcus citri that is used to good effect in integrated pest management of Citrus species and cultivars and other ornamental plants, often associated with another beneficial Leptomastix dactylopil. Also the larvae (14-15mm long) are predators. Adults live for over 2 months and in optimal conditions (around 25°C) females lay up to 120 eggs near to the prey (the pests). In a little over one month the cycle from egg to adult is completed through the development of 4 larval stages. Adult beneficials must be distributed as near as possible to the main points of infestation of mealy bugs so as to be in rapid contact. The capacity of the predator to eliminate infestations is very high. For further information contact Bioplanet. Fax 0547 632244 E-mail: biolab@bioplanet.it
