The new system combines three different types of hydroponics inside the same unit, confering many advantages over previous systems; there is no wasting of water or nutrients, the system is less labour intensive and more eco-friendly. The Company is developing fully commercial trough systems of unlimited lengths and a linkable sealed system. Built with custom made plant spacings, these lightweight plastic units will cost a little more at the start but will recuperate costs within the fisrt year. After which time the grower will have no further costs of buying in and disposing of growth mediums. The system is able too sustain many different types of plants. For the home and office use, the Company has developed a completely sealed container with incorporated pump, water inlet, drainage cap, plant support and mount for bare root cutting/seedling. An EC meter tells the user to either add water or nutrient. The systems will accept as growth mediums 3 inch blocks then adaptor plates to be able too uses 50mm net pots, 40 mm blocks, or 1/2 inchblock/bare root.
