The CPVO enables applicants make their application forms for European Plant variety Rights directly "on line" on its web site before printing, signing where necessary and sending to the CPVO. The forms are available under the link "forms" in eleven languages. It is interesting to note the top ten number of applications per member State made for European Plant Variety Rights in the period from April 1995 to the end of January 2002: Holland 5164, Germany 2205, France 2061, United Kingdom 858, Denmark 784, Italy 359, Belgium 284, Spain 202, Sweden 139, Austria 33. Of all the applications made in this period, ornamental species represented 56% of the total, agricultural crops 30%, vegetables 11% and fruit 3%. The next administrative council of the CPVO will take place at Angers, France 26-27 March 2002. www.CPVO.eu.int
