FGB introduced several new varieties at the IPM Exhibition
2002. Cut-Chrysanthemum, ‘Discovery’ is a sturdy green flowered
floriferous pompom variety. ‘Tamarinda Violet’ and ‘Tamarinda
Blush’ bring this series of NG Impatiens to 13 varieties. The series
is uniform in its growth habit and early flowering. Four new varieties are added
to the ‘Fortunia’ series of hanging Petunia, described as:
blue improved, light pink, bright pink and a particularly attractive white with
a dark eye. ‘Fortunia’ varieties are well known for their vigour and
heavy flowering over a long period. New Kalanchoe varieties are: ‘Segula’
(pale pink flowers that contrast with russet coloured leaves), ‘Altar’
(bright red flowers with medium sized leaves), ‘Soret’ (salmon flowers
produced in large umbels) and ‘Nanta’ (bright pink flowers and small
