An excellent solution has been developed by Plastecnic ,Perego (Italy), called ‘Wind Block System’ for Nursery-stock growers. The Wind Block System allows plants to be exactly positioned at equal spacing and provides the pots with a strong support against the wind. The plastic ‘ring’ support is suitable for pots from 18-26cm diameter due to a block inserted into the 3 upright supports of the ring. The bottom of the pot is also held above ground reducing the possibility of waterlogging due to the accumulation of surface water.
