| Atheta coriaria (Staphylinidae) originally developed by the Vineland Research Station, Ontario, Canada, is a small ground living beetle that provides good control against Sciarid flies, Shore flies (Scatella spp.) and the soil dwelling stages of thrips. The product will be marketed as ‘Staphyline c’ by Syngenta Bioline. All mobile stages of the beetle are predatory and thay are suitable for all year round use.
