| Heat tolerant annuals | |
| Trials at the Ohio State University have found the following genera of annuals to be heat tolerant: Angelonia, Ageratum, Melampodium, Portulacca, Bracteantha. Good results were also obtained with Diascia “Sun Chimes Coral”, Nierembergia “Mont Blanc” and Celosia “Pink Candle”. The heat tolerance of some of these genera is well known in Italy, but others might deserve more attention, especially Angelonia. Ohio State University. | |
